(Reuters) – Multiple platforms, including the Spotify music transmission service and the Discord instant messaging platform stopped working for tens of thousands of users this Thursday after an interruption in Google Cloud, Alphabet.
Google Cloud reported on its state page that several products experienced different levels of impact on the service.
“Our engineers continue to mitigate the problem and we have confirmation that it has been solved in some locations,” said Google Cloud.
He added that he could not confirm when it would be completely resolved.

There were more than 10,000 incidents of people who reported problems with Google Cloud and more than 44,000 reports in Spotify around 12:46 hours (Tienpo in central Mexico), according to Downdetector, which tracks interruptions when collecting state reports from various sources.
US users also reported more than 4,000 incidents each with Google Meet and Google’s search engine, while there were more than 8,000 reports on the Discord messaging platform.
It was not possible to contact Discord immediately. Spotify did not immediately respond to a request for comments.
Downdector figures are based on reports sent by users. The real number of affected users can vary.
