The Government of Claudia Sheinbaum reiterated its willingness to dialogue with the National Coordinator of Education Workers (CNTE) by formally convening a new meeting for Wednesday, According to a quadratin website note

Through the governorate, in coordination with the SEP, the ISSSTE and other instances, the work tables with the teaching staff to address two central demands of the guild are sought: the freezing of the retirement age and the disappearance of the unit of the system for the career of the teachers and teachers (Usicamm).

The Government proposes to advance in the decree that would allow teachers subject to the tenth article to retire at 58 years in the case of men and 56 for women.

Likewise, the joint elaboration of an initiative is proposed to replace the current model of entry, promotion and teaching recognition with a more transparent and free of discretionary practices.

The call was extended to the Single Negotiating National Commission of the CNTE to participate in the meeting to be held at the headquarters of the Ministry of the Interior, in Bucareli, with the presence of dependencies holders, including a farm representative.

The objective, according to the federal government, is to present a new proposal and advance in joint solutions that benefit the national teaching and guarantee their labor rights.
