The Ministry of Economy (Se) announced the beginning of an anti -dumping investigation into the imports of polycarbonate sheets originating in China, regardless of the country of origin.
The measure was published in the Official Gazette of the Federation and responds to a request from a national producer, which argued that imports of this material were carried out under alleged conditions of price discrimination, causing damage to the Mexican industry, according to a release.

The agency determined to initiate the investigation, since based on the arguments and evidence provided by the producer, it was concluded that there are indications that during the investigated period imports were carried out in alleged conditions of price discrimination and caused damage to the Rama of national production.
The Government summoned national producers, importers and exporters, as well as to the Government of China, to present evidence and arguments to defend their interests.
