The Federal Government gave alternate energies, studies and projects (ENAL), of the Carlos Slim business group, a 30 -year concession for the exploitation of geothermal resources in Guanajuato.
“The granting title aims to grant the concessionaire the right of use, use and exclusive exploitation of the geothermal area called Celaya, in the state of Guanajuato, with the purpose of generating electrical energy, as well as allocating the geothermal resource to diverse uses,” is indicated in an extract published Monday in the Official Gazette of the Federation.
The title granted by the Ministry of Energy to ENAL, a company of Grupo Carso, is valid as of this September 1.
