The upcoming release of GTA VI is easily one of the most highly anticipated in the entirety of video game history, with millions of players waiting in the wings to see exactly what developer Rockstar has been able to produce after working on the game for all of these years.

Given just how much hype there is around its arrival, and the fact that we’re now only eight months away from its supposed release date, we actually know remarkably little about what the final product is going to be like.

The game’s extensive community have done a brilliant job gleaning everything they can from the two trailers we have so far, as well as via confirmed leaks, but there’s only so much that can be done with Rockstar remaining so secretive for the time being. One of the biggest areas of discussion has been how much it’s all going to cost, and whilst we don’t have a final price just yet, more information is starting to slowly emerge.

Planning To Buy GTA 6 On Xbox? There’s Some Important Pricing Info

As first reported by GameRanx, via a now-deleted post on Reddit, GTA VI’s store page on Xbox now has a Terms of Transaction page that doesn’t reveal the finalized price of the game, but does include clauses that those planning to buy it on the platform should be aware of.

One of the most interesting points is that, whilst Microsoft doesn’t guarantee price matching for the game, they have confirmed that if they put a game on sale within 30 days and you find a lower price, they will refund or credit the difference to your account.

The biggest takeaway here actually isn’t in the details of the document itself, but the fact that it’s there in the first place. It’s a sure sign that Rockstar is continuing to lay out preparations for opening up pre-orders, likely after the arrival of the third trailer, and that they are still planning to stick to their currently scheduled release date.

During the last Take-Two earnings call, Rockstar’s parent company pushed the release of GTA VI back for a second time to November 19. At the moment, all signs point to that still being the plan, though if they are going to delay it again, we will hear about it around the next earnings call in a few months.

Until then, we just have to sit tight and hope that, when it does arrive, GTA VI brings everything we’re expecting.
