The HBO platform announced to the main cast of its new series based on the books of the Magician Harry Potter: Dominic McLaughlin will play Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton will give life to Hermione Granger and Alastair Stout will embody Ron Weasley.

McLaughlin, Stanton and Stout were chosen among more than 30,000 children’s actors who participated in an open casting made by the platform last fall, in search of the new performers of the characters that Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint turned into icons at the beginning of this millennium.

“The talent of these three unique actors is wonderful to contemplate, and we cannot wait for the world to witness their magic on the screen,” the executive producers of the series, Francesca Gardiner and Mark Mylod said in a joint statement.
