Compared to its predecessor, Hollow Knight: Silksong feels even more like a traditional RPG, thanks to its more defined wish system, but that does mean there are bound to be a few tedious quests along the way. Unlocked after saving both Courier Tipp and Courier Pill from the Bellhart Quest Board, the Delivery quests in Silksong can be some of the most frustrating and rewarding at the same time.
Given the arduous journey between objectives filled with hostile bugs, you’ll want to have as many powerful Weaver techniques and movement abilities as you can before attempting some of the greater challenges. Thankfully, the reward for each quest gives a general idea of its difficulty, letting you start with some of the easier ones to get a hang of Hornet’s faster movement and see how far you can push her without damaging the supplies.
Every Reward For Silksong’s Delivery Quests
While it’s exciting to see a plethora of new quests to complete at first, most of the delivery quests you see from Tipp and Pill aren’t fully-fledged wishes, but rather a new way to farm Rosaries outside of combat. This does have the benefit of allowing you to repeat them as many times as you want for some easy spending money, but it’s far from the most efficient Rosary farming method available.

Compared to the farmable quests, the two couriers do offer additional one-time-only missions with some significant rewards, albeit with a greater level of challenge.
The first of the two is unlocked after completing any single delivery beforehand, after which you’ll have a request to bring one Queen Silkeater grub egg to Styx at the far end of the Sinner’s Road. On top of awarding you 120 Rosaries for the journey, completing the “Queen’s Egg” quest will permanently upgrade your Silkeater farm, doubling the amount you receive from each visit to Hornet’s well-meaning ally.
The last mission you can complete for the daring duo is tied to the “Great Taste of Pharloom” quest, requiring you to bring the perishable ingredients to Loyal Mergwin in the Citadel under a set time limit, with the item leading into the wish for Hornet’s second nail upgrade.
Best Methods For Completing Silksong’s Delivery Quests
While the delivery quests sound easy on paper, given how often you have to backtrack already, they do introduce specific rules you have to follow if you want to actually complete them. The most challenging delivery limitation removes your ability to fast-travel by any means, on top of adding an item health bar that decreases by one segment each time you take damage, fall from a great height, or run directly into a wall without stopping.
Compared to Hollow Knight‘s single-hit delivery quests, there’s much more room for mistakes in Silksong; however, there is no way to easily cheat your way out of the challenge by killing enemies ahead of time. For every quest but the “Courier’s Rasher”, your best bet is to play with the abilities you’re most comfortable with and avoid enemies at all costs.
The delivery quest that stands out the most is easily the “Courier’s Rasher”, which I would highly recommend putting off until you have both the Clawline and Feydown Cloak abilities before even bothering to attempt. Given the unique time limit applied to the “Courier’s Rasher” delivery, the wish needs equal parts speed and safety that practically requires you to have access to all of Hornet’s advanced movement abilities.
When you are ready to tackle one of Silksong‘s most challenging quests, having a few additional tools can make all the difference. On top of the two previously mentioned movement abilities, the Flea Brew offensive tool and the Silkspeed Anklets are both fantastic options for increasing Hornet’s speed, and the compass is essential to check your route progression.
I would also recommend using the Wanderer’s Crest for the harder deliveries if you have memory lockets to spare, as the downwards pogo is much more consistent for avoiding both enemies and hazards alike. If you have slots to spare after the Flea Brew, ranged weapons like the Curveclaw can be essential in preventing damage from annoying flying enemies.
Best Route For Every Delivery Quest
There isn’t much to say about the standard supply delivery quests, except that you should abuse the Drifter’s cloak as much as possible for the Bone Bottom and Pilgrim’s Rest deliveries, allowing you to safely avoid enemies by sticking to the sides or jet streams and adjusting as needed.
The Sinner’s Road delivery can be a little trickier to accomplish if you haven’t fully explored the area before, but the most important thing to remember is that the Muckmaggots can be almost entirely avoided through stealth. By running along the paths without Muckmaggots and abusing area transitions to despawn aggressive flying enemies, you should be able to get to Styx without too much of a hassle along this route.
Following the same rules as the previous routes, the sheer distance combined with the limited amount of time offered makes learning the Choral Chambers layout before attempting “Courier’s Rasher” an essential asset. I would also highly recommend attempting the route run several times without the delivery beforehand, letting you figure out trickier sections of Hollow Knight: Silksong‘s map to save plenty of time and headaches later on.
