President Donald Trump signed an executive order that raises the restrictions on the amount of water that shower heads can use and that makes in his opinion that the bathrooms in the United States “are again great.”

“I like to bathe well to take care of my beautiful hair … I have to stand in the shower 15 minutes until it gets wet … it’s ridiculous,” he said before signing it.

According to a statement published by the White House, this order requires the Secretary of Energy, Chris Wright, to immediately terminate the federal norm “excessively complicated that redefined the term ‘bath head'” during the governments of Barack Obama and Joe Biden.

According to the brief, the repeal will be effective 30 days after the date of publication of the notice.

This standard limited the flow of each head available in the market to nine liters of water per minute.

The Republican president complained several times about the measures implemented by Democratic governments in water efficiency.

During his first term and 2024 presidential campaign, Trump spoke several times about water pressure and his criticism of environmental regulations, especially those related to water consumption in products such as showers, toilets and taps.
