The National Electoral Institute (INE) has received 29 complaints and 77 demarcations in relation to the “accordions” used to vote in the judicial election.
Of the 29 complaints, 25 correspond to distribution files and publication in physical format, while four refer to Internet domains.
At a press conference, Hugo Patlán Matehuala, in charge of the Office of the Technical Unit of the Electoral Contentious (UTCE) of the INE, explained that 77 individual demarches were received from candidates that appeared in some “accordion” and went to the INE to uncheck their participation.

In the case of Morena and the Government of Mexico City, Patlán Matehuala said that it was not a demarcation itself, but that they were required and answered that they had no participation.
The INE Complaints and complaints commission issued an inhibitory precautionary measure and four additional measures against the four identified Internet domains.
In all cases of the 29 complaints and 77 demarcations, the technical unit of inspection of the INE was given a view to the Prosecutor’s Office in the field of electoral crimes (Fisel) and the Attorney General’s Office for its investigations.

The Superior Chamber of the Electoral Court has defined that the demarcation of a person involved in a seemingly illegal act must be appropriate and legal to be effective.
This assessment is incorporated into the file and does not automatically blame or blame the person, but depends on the context of the investigation.
“The Superior Chamber has a thesis in which she points out that if a person is involved in a seemingly illegal act, she can present what they call the demarcation, and the Chamber says that for the demarcation to be effective, it has to have certain characteristics, that it is appropriate, that is legal (…) that assessment of whether that demonstrated in each case has or not efficiency with respect to its responsibility or not, that will be seen in the context of the file,” Patlan Matehuala.
