The artist J Balvin published this Monday on his social networks a message that definitively sealed his reconciliation with Bad Bunny, which occurred publicly last Sunday, during the last concert of the Puerto Rican’s ‘Debí Tirar Más Fotos’ tour in Mexico, where the Colombian attended as a special guest.
“Today I celebrate that we are well, that peace is also becoming a trend, that the examples outweigh the headlines,” J Balvin wrote in a publication accompanied by a cover photo that frames that emblematic hug that the representatives of the urban genre gave each other in Spanish before the 66,000 people who attended the GNP Stadium in the Mexican capital.
In the publication, the ‘QDMT’ singer included photos and videos from that Sunday in which they decided it was “the perfect time” to iron out differences and recognize the trajectory that both have established as icons of Latin music.
“Not everything that separates is war, sometimes it is growth. And growing is also knowing how to return without resentment, without masks, without fear,” the Colombian expressed on his Instagram account.
And the last of the eight concerts of the ‘Debí Tirar Más Fotos’ tour in Mexico became the scene of reconciliation for both composers, after having distanced themselves in 2021 following J Balvin’s attempt to boycott the Latin Grammys for supposedly not valuing the reggaeton genre.
“And now brother, we are two men who are standing up to represent Latinos wherever we go, and I wish you the best, may God bless you,” said J Balvin to Conejo Malo on stage at the GNP Stadium, where they sang ‘The Song’, the Colombian producer’s most listened to song on Spotify and included in the album they recorded together in 2019.

In response to this gesture of affection, the singer, real name Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, thanked him for the words, expressing his admiration for J Balvin’s talent and his ability to “represent Latinos throughout the world.”
“The feeling is mutual, I respect you a lot, I love you a lot, maybe at some point I was missing something and I apologized a long time ago,” Martínez Ocasio confessed after explaining to his followers that weeks ago they had talked about this reconciliation.
With a smile, the Bad Rabbit assured that both were waiting for “the perfect moment to share the stage,” and that would be that night of December 21 in Mexico.
At this reunion, the reggaeton exponents also performed ‘Qué Pretends’, included on the ‘Oasis’ album, ‘Si tu boyfriend leaves you alone’, a hit for both in 2017, as well as ‘I Like It’, which they recorded with Cardi B in 2018.
The passage of the Bad Rabbit in Mexico was present on social networks every day since its arrival, on December 10, both for its falls in its alternate stage ‘La Casita’ and for its special guests, among whom the brilliance of Julieta Venegas, Grupo Frontera, Natanael Cano, Feid and, of course, J Balvin stood out.
