The Aston Martin Formula 1 team reported this Tuesday that American Jak Crawford will become the team’s third driver in 2026, in which he will play the reserve role in all races of the next World Championship season.

Crawford, 20 years old and who joined the team’s young driver development program in 2024, accumulated more than 2,000 km in Formula 1 single-seaters. Aston Martin’s starting drivers are the Spanish Fernando Alonso and the Canadian Lance Stroll.
