The governor of Jalisco, Pablo Lemus, said that companies have stopped their investments for the threats and uncertainty caused by President Donald Trump, but that there are responsible firms, such as GS Motos, which are committed to the Jalisco economy with the construction of a motorcycle plant.
“Given the uncertainty in the world, the threats of Donald Trump’s president, many investments have stopped, but there are responsible companies and believe in Mexico and believe in their people as Salinas group and do not stop their expansion projects,” he said.
“Today Jalisco receives Mexican and foreign companies and investments with open arms, because our vision is to turn Jalisco into the oasis of investments nationwide,” he said.

He explained that among the reasons to install the plant in the Salta are connectivity with the port of Manzanillo, since many of the pieces reach that terminal from Asia.
The motorcycles will be sold from the middle of the Mexican Republic to the north, so Jalisco’s connectivity plays an important role, he added.
“The most important thing about the decision to get to Jalisco is because of the talent of its people. The decision of this extraordinary investment is not so much for the Government, but by the people of Jalisco and for what you have worked, trained and cast, ”he said.
