Washington (EFE) .- Johns Hopkins University plans more than 2,000 layoffs after having lost 800 million dollars in financing by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID, in English).

According to his statement, most cessations will affect their employees abroad. Specifically, to 1,975 workers in 44 countries, compared to 247 positions in the United States, while a reduced day will be applied to about 100 other workers.
