Juan Gabriel’s first concert at the Palace of Fine Arts, held in 1990, will be screened in the capital’s Zócalo on November 8 as part of a tribute to the “Divo of Juárez,” reported the Ministry of Culture.

Likewise, never before seen photographs of the artist will be exhibited in different emblematic points of the city.

The event in the capital’s Zócalo will include unpublished material from the show, from a new documentary series.

Starting on October 27, the images will be available at the Bellas Artes Metro station, while from October 30 they can be seen at the Ángel de la Independencia and the Glorieta de la Diana Cazadora.

Last year, a free screening of one of Juan Gabriel’s concerts at the Cineteca Nacional was very well received, bringing together hundreds of fans who celebrated his music and charisma on the big screen.
