(WJW) — These days when nationwide chains promote free food or drinks there’s usually some sort of catch, such as having to to download an app or purchasing other items first.
But this weekend, Krispy Kreme is offering customers a free (and very green) glazed donut with barely a catch in sight in honor of St. Patrick’s Day.
Donut fiends can score a so-called O’riginal Glazed Doughnut just by wearing the color green inside a Krispy Kreme or going through a drive-thru.
There is no other purchase necessary, but the bakery has other holiday-themed items for sale on their menu as well.
