Servando Gómez Martínez, aka ‘La Tuta’ and who was leader of the Michoacan family and the Knights Templar, is one of the 26 prisoners transferred from Mexico to the United States.

These people face federal and state criminal charges in the United States, including drug trafficking, hostage, kidnapping, illegal use of firearms, people trafficking, money laundering, murder of a sheriff agent and other crimes, according to a statement from the Department of Justice.

“Today is the most recent example of the historical efforts of the Trump administration to dismantle foreign terrorist cartels and organizations,” said the Attorney General, Pamela Bondi, according to the statement.

“These 26 men have contributed to bringing violence and drugs to the United States; under the supervision of this Department of Justice, they will face serious consequences for their crimes against this country. We thank the National Security team of Mexico for their collaboration in this matter,” he added.

This is the complete list of prisoners linked to drug trafficking, as well as the districts in which they are accused and that will appear before the Federal Court in the coming days:
