Lady Gaga and Oprah Winfrey will participate in a rally in Philadelphia the day before the election to help Democrats win Pennsylvania, the most important of the seven key states that will determine the outcome of the presidential election, the vice president’s campaign announced , Kamala Harris, this Sunday.
Also taking the stage Monday in Philadelphia will be DJ Cassidy, Fat Joe, Freeway and Just Blaze, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Ricky Martin, The Roots, and Jazmine Sullivan and Adam Blackstone.
Harris will hold a second rally that night in Pittsburgh, another major Pennsylvania city, featuring D-Nice, Katy Perry and Andra Day.
“These artists and public figures are trusted voices for millions of Americans who listen to their music, follow them on social media or are inspired by them.
The Harris campaign believes that by using their voices to expose what is at stake in this election, it will further encourage and mobilize people to go vote,” the White House candidate’s campaign noted in a statement.
