Pemex will be between March and April a payment of up to 6.4 billion dollars, about 127,000 million pesos that represent a quarter of the debt it with its suppliers, said the president of the Energy Commission of the Chamber of Deputies, Rocío Abreu, according to a note from El Economista.

“In this month, 3,000 million dollars are dispersed and for the following month there are 3.4 billion dollars, which informs us of the Treasury for the payment of suppliers in matters of Mexican Petróleos debts,” he said during the commemoration of the 87th anniversary of the oil expropriation in the Pemex tower.

The note signed by the journalist Karol García indicates that, according to the legislator, these advances include payments to SMEs and MSMEs in the entities where debts have risen, which are Campeche, Tabasco, Veracruz, Tamaulipas and Chiapas.

The legislator added that part of the resources are from Pemex, but also the federal government makes contributions, together with a bank factoring scheme that allows those who retain the debts to make their charges with the promise of payment of the oil company.
