The president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, warned this Monday the president-elect of Chile, José Antonio Kast, to avoid messing with Venezuelan migrants in that country, amid the accusations that, he claims, he is making against his compatriots.

“You may be a convicted and confessed Pinochetist, but be careful, it doesn’t hurt a Venezuelan, Venezuelans respect each other. Be careful! Listen to me well, you heard, whoever messes with Venezuela will dry up and you can dry up quickly, Mr. Kast,” said the president in his television program ‘Con Maduro+’, broadcast on the state channel Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).
