The toy manufacturer Mattel was associated with Openai to test the artificial intelligence video model Sora 2 of the Chatgpt creator, said the OpenAi CEO, Sam Altman, at the company Developer Day of the company on Monday.
“Mattel has been a great partner working with us to try Sora 2 in the API (application programming interface) and seeing what they can do to bring product ideas to life more quickly. So now one of his designers can start with a sketch and then turn those initial concepts into something that can be seen, sharing and reacting,” Altman said.
This Monday’s actions are the most recent in a series of ads for OpenAI, which triggered the modern rise of artificial intelligence with the launch of ChatgPT approximately three years ago. Many of the ambitions of CEO Sam Altman are bold and expensive, even for Silicon Valley standards, which has generated some concern among technological investors about whether investments in artificial intelligence are a bubble.
