Mercedes-Benz Autobuses expects to close the year in Mexico with the sale of more than 10 thousand units, which would represent a historic level for the company, while the manufacturer awaits the arrival of the new CEO who will direct it to maintain its maximum levels and its leadership. in the national market.
In a press conference, executives of the truck manufacturer, together with Alexandre Nogueira, its outgoing CEO in Mexico, explained that as of November alone, the company recorded the sale of 8,442 units, which is estimated that 2024 will conclude with sales in the market above 10 thousand units.
The workforce presents a growth of 27% and the turnover of auto parts, of 10%, while the financing granted by the company’s finance company increased 55%.

Mercedez-Benz Autobuses has already chosen its new CEO
In October, Mercedez-Benz Autobuses announced the transfer of its CEO Alexandre Nogueira to another position in the company’s international structure.
In the meeting with media representatives, Nogueira said that in his new position he will be in charge of plants that the company has in various countries in Europe.
When asked about his replacement, the manager announced that internally in the organization it has already been decided who will occupy his position starting in March, although the name cannot yet be revealed.
“This is a person who is not Mexican. “We are resolving the issue of his employment visa,” he commented.
When Nogueira’s departure was revealed, it was recalled that among the achievements he led the company to in Mexico was the successful management of the complete renewal of the vehicle fleet in key cities such as Querétaro and Mérida.
Likewise, its legacy in Mexico included the introduction of an electric chassis that will mark the future of Mercedes-Benz Buses.
