Zacua, the Mexican electric car manufacturer, is preparing the launch of five new models, revealed Nazareth Black, CEO of the company.
The launches will occur seven years after the company launched two versions of its car for cities.
“We released 100 units of our launch Zacua edition, they sold very quickly, and we immediately got to work on the next models,” said Black.

“The launch of the first Zacua allowed us to demonstrate that Mexico is capable of technological innovation in the industry,” he recalled.
Of the new models that the Mexican manufacturer has developed, two will be launched in 2025: the new version of the Zacua, and a last mile truck.
“Zacua works hard to respond to the first needs and solve real problems. The initial problem was mobility in big cities, that’s why we decided that the first thing would be a ‘city car’ that could solve the needs of people who are in the city,” Black said.
He added that along these lines another very important need is the last mile issue (deliveries), because today more than ever it represents a problem with a lot of pollution.
“So, another prototype we are working on is a light truck for city use and focused on the last mile. It will have extraordinary capacities, because it will have a load capacity of up to 4 tons, and it also brings a lot of innovation in terms of materials,” he revealed.
Later, Zacua will present a sports car and a motorcycle.
Zacua is the first Mexican brand of electric cars, which was founded in 2017. Belonging to the Motores Limpios company, Zacua inaugurated its assembly plant in 2018.
The company has maintained its main objective of providing mobility solutions that contribute to citizens in the economic part, as well as in environmental aspects.
