The Mexican Isaac del Toro (UAE Team Emirates) won this Saturday with the fourth stage of the Tour of Austria, his third consecutive triumph, of 117.3 kilometers, between Innsbruck and Kühtai, and became the new leader of the general classification.
Del Toro, 21, continues his good run and chains his third victory in a row, after winning in the second, third and fourth stage of the Tour of Austria.
With an accumulated time of 13:58:08, the Mexican drives in 29 seconds to his most immediate persecutor, the Irishman Archie Ryan, (EF Education), which finished second the penultimate stage of the championship four seconds of Del Toro, which crossed the goal with a total time of 3:27:20.
The Colombian Esteban Chaves, Ryan’s teammate, finished the stage in fifth place 34 seconds from the leader, and remains eighth in the general to 2:10 from the head.
Also of the EF Education, the Spanish Markel Beloki, ended in twelfth place at 2:27 of the leader and is positioned in the fourteenth position of the general to 5:30 from Del Toro.
This Sunday will be held the fifth and final stage of the Tour of Austria, 144.2 kilometers with departure and arrival in Feldkirch.
