The benchmark S&P/BMV IPC stock index rose 0.89% to 63,352.85 points, a new historical closing maximum, although during the day it reached an intraday milestone of 63,540.28 units.
The titles of the Orbia conglomerate led the increases, with 7.37% more to 17.91 pesos, followed by those of the mining company Grupo México, which added 6.19% to 165.65 pesos.
On the contrary, a drop of 4.69% to 11.99 pesos in the shares of the airline Volaris stood out after the United States announced the day before that it revoked the approval of 13 routes of Mexican companies to its territory and the cancellation of combined passenger and cargo flights.

In the secondary debt market, the 10-year bond yield fell four basis points to 8.55%, while the 20-year rate fell six basis points to 9.24%.
