There are few brands that manage to weave a consistent story between tradition, art and exclusivity as Mexico’s blue class does. Born in Guadalajara in 1997 of the vision of Arturo Lomelí, the company turned the tequila and mezcal into cultural experiences that today conquer palates and collections in more than 100 countries.
Each of its Licoreras, handmade by Mexican artisans, transcends the container function to become recognized pieces of art throughout the world. This mixture of distillates of excellence with artisanal design has made the firm an emblem of Mexican culture reinterpreted for the global market.
The alchemy of agave
The blue class tequila is born in the highs of Jalisco, where climatic conditions and its volcanic land, print a unique character to blue agave. After slow cooking in masonry ovens, fermentation with own yeasts and double copper distillation, expressions arise from the fresh blue class silver tequila class to the sublime ultra blue class, aged more than five years and adorned with platinum details.
The portfolio is complemented with special editions and with mezcal elaborated in different regions of the country, such as Durango, Guerrero and San Luis Potosí, which reflect the diversity of the agaves and traditional techniques. Under the direction of Viridiana Tinoco, distiller teacher, each liquid harmonizes with time, earth and creativity to create a unique narrative.
The philosophy of “artisans of an exquisite life” crosses the entire value chain. Licoreras, manufactured with natural materials and sustainable processes, require up to seven days of artisanal work: from the clay molding to the application of brushstrokes that acquire their characteristic cobalt blue after the second burning.
These pieces are not only recognized as symbols of Mexican luxury, but are designed to have a second life as decorative objects, integrating into the daily life of those who collect them.

In 2022, the brand inaugurated Blue Class La Terraza Los Cabos, a destination that combines boutique, restaurant, cocktails and immersive experiences such as Taste of Culture, where Mexican gastronomy dialogues with its distillates. This is the first step of its strategy to create spaces – Class Blue Destinations – to live the brand beyond the bottle.

At the same time, the firm promotes the Causa Azul AC Foundation, with which it protects the cultural identity of Mexican artisan communities, while promoting its economic and social development. In the environmental sphere, has received the Butterfly Mark of Positive Luxury, global certification that supports its responsible practices and its commitment to sustainability.
Blue Class Mexico is not limited to producing premium drinks; His proposal is to tell the history of Mexico through each drop and each brushstroke. With limited editions such as our memories – given to the day of the dead – and the Master Artisans collection, the brand reaffirms its ability to innovate without losing sight of its roots.
