The president of the United States, Donald Trump, said Thursday that Mexico and Canada do what their administration tells them to do when it comes to border security, a problem that said he has solved himself.

“Mexico does what we say to do, and Canada does what we tell you to do,” Trump said in statements to journalists in the Oval Office of the White House.

The Republican praised his alleged plan to end crime and attacked, again, former president Joe Biden to show off his border management.

“I remember that Joe Biden always said: ‘I need legislation.’ I had no legislation, I just said: ‘We are going to close the borders’, and everyone understood it, because now they respect their country again,” he said.

As he said, when he returned to the White House last January, the situation on the two borders “was horrible”, however, now no longer: “There are people who say it is a miracle,” he said.

These statements occur after Mexico sent to the United States 26 prisoner drug trafficking leaders in the Latin American country after the US Department of Justice was requested.

In addition, in the last hours a controversy has been generated in Mexico due to the flight of an American drone on Mexican airspace.

The president of the country, Claudia Sheinbaum, said that the overflow was requested by her government because Mexico does not have the specific material that was required.

“The application is made within the collaboration frameworks so that there is a flight from the United States of equipment that is not available in Mexico,” said the Mexican ruler, who added that it was used for a special investigation “related to organized crime.”
