Michelin announced that Faiez Pisal is its new president and CEO for Mexico and Central America since July 1.
The new director, who has a degree in active sciences by the Penn State University, joined the company in 2017 and was appointed in 2022 General Director of Michelin Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar, according to a statement.
Michelin stressed that Mexico and Central America are a strategic region for the group, because in León the company’s most modern plant is located worldwide and, in Querétaro is the corporate services center, which supports the entire continent, including EU, Canada and European countries.
The previous regional head, Matthieu Aubron will move to Canada, where he will take the direction of the urban transport line for North America: “This transition ensures the retention of key talent within the group and maintains the continuity of regional projects.”

“With these movements, Michelin reaffirms his commitment to innovation, productive investment and the development of local talent in Mexico and Central America,” he said.
In June Michelin announced the closure of his first plant established in Mexico (Querétaro) by the end of 2025, due to the obsolescence of the installation to attend the changes in the tire market for passenger cars and light trucks.
