The Argentine President, Javier Milei, will be received on October 14 at the White House by his American counterpart, Donald Trump, in the second formal meeting between the two, after his meeting last Tuesday in New York during the UN General Assembly.

“Within the framework of the solid bilateral relationship that unites the Argentine Republic with the United States of America, President Javier Milei will hold an official visit to Washington on October 14, where he will be received at the White House by the president of the United States, Donald Trump,” said the Argentine presidency in a statement.

This new meeting comes days after Trump expressed his electoral support to Milei last week and promised economic aid for Argentina that will once again acquire a new debt with the loan requested from the US.

“This new meeting will mark a new instance of strengthening the strategic alliance between the two nations, based on shared values ​​and in the common commitment to life, freedom and private property,” added the official statement.
