Brown, former mayor of Rosarito, was linked by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the Treasury with a network of politicians and businessmen who would have facilitated the criminal control of Mayiza in that area.

For its part, the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) announced Thursday that it made an administrative block of the deputy’s accounts, while reviewing the financial information of seven people and 15 companies indicated by the US.
“In case of identifying possible illegal activities, the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) for the leading legal effects,” said the FIU in a statement.
However, Brown denied that his accounts have been frozen, since he has already made “some daily transfers.”
Speaking to journalists in Congress, the deputy claimed to be surprised by the accusations that relate it to the criminal structure of Mayiza, since she has not received “no notification” in this regard.
