Legendary musician, arranger, composer and producer Quincy Jones died due to pancreatic cancer, according to his death certificate, published by CNN.

The document, a copy of which CNN obtained, does not list other possible factors that contributed to the American musician’s death, although it does specify that he had been suffering from cancer for years.

Quincy Jones, producer of the biggest music stars of recent decades, died on November 3 at his home in Bel Air, California, at the age of 91.

The music icon was laid to rest in a private ceremony earlier this week.
