Omar Montes, Spanish singer, has shown that you can achieve your dreams and choose other opportunities in life. The Spaniard went from being an amateur boxer to one of the most prominent figures in the music industry in Spain. Currently, the artist has 4 million followers on social networks.

He was born on June 22, 1988 in the Pan Bendito neighborhood, in Madrid, Spain. Omar grew up in an environment marked by perseverance and effort, since, from a young age, he developed a passion for boxing, a discipline that he practiced for years.

However, life led him to explore new paths and, in 2015, he decided to commit to music.

With a mix of reggaeton, trap and flamenco, Omar Montes has managed to create his own musical style that connects with millions of people. His ability to fuse urban sounds with flamenco roots has been key to his career. To date, he has released three albums.

In 2023, his career reached a new milestone when he was nominated for the Latin Grammy in the category of Best Flamenco Artist. “I feel very proud to have been nominated, this year I hope to win,” says the singer excitedly, who considers this recognition as a reflection of the work he does every day.

Despite the success, the Spaniard has not lost sight of what he loves; his family, since, for him, the most important goal each year is to keep his family united and healthy. “It is the goal every year,” he says.
