The numbers import: 361 thousand jobs and 74 billion dollars in direct foreign investment are part of the results of the administration of Samuel García, three years after starting his mandate in Nuevo León.

From industrial capital to the economy of the future

The Northern State advances in strategic sectors and has become a priority to attract the large industries that reinvent the future of the planet, as well as generate a national production hub so that Mexico is part of this evolution.

To do this, programs such as import substitution, competitive SMEs, made in Nuevo León and new impulse, have granted credits for more than 8,500 million pesos for small and medium enterprises.

Likewise, Colombia-Ledo Customs was rescued to make it one of the fastest and most safe in the country, this is added a six-road network to improve regional connectivity. The economy of Nuevo León has a local seal and global bet.

Of the drought to fill the dams

In 2022, Nuevo León lived a water crisis due to the lack of new water infrastructure and maintenance to the supply network, resulting in empty dams, excess leaks and homes without water.

The administration of Samuel García promoted the Master Water Plan, with which Nuevo León today has great works such as the new Aqueduct El Cuchillo II and the new León dam. A unique pressure modulation system in Latin America was implemented, which distributes water equally, detects leaks and recovers more than 2,200 lps. In addition to this, irrigation technification was activated in the field, the drilling of deep and shallow wells, and cloud bombardment.

Thanks to this plan, when the storm Alberto arrived in the state, the dams were ready to capture and take advantage of each drop. Together, the strategy obtained a UN recognition for its excellence in efficiency and better water use.

Forgotten mobility to planned connections

To renew a transport system that added old buses, abandoned subway lines and a seriously deteriorated infrastructure, the Nuevo León government has invested in mass public transport.

The State Administration acquired 2,500 new low -emission vehicles, including electrical transmetters made in Nuevo León, and two new Metorrey lines are already built. Together they will connect the capital with the airport, forming the longest monorriel in Latin America.

Likewise, we worked on the reconstruction of Line 2 to improve user safety and line 1 is renewed with the modernization of their stations and with new trains that will replace the flotilla that had been operating for more than 30 years. In addition, a digital payment system was introduced in the new units to pay faster and receive subsidies directly.

Dignify Civil Force

After finding a police without decent conditions and lack of coordination, the current administration made a historical investment of more than 21 billion pesos in security.

To shield Nuevo León, the State Police (Civil Force) relaunched, the conditions and benefits of the elements were dignified, and their operations were decentralized with new detachments and police fields in the entrances and exits of the State.

Today the new civil force has a thousand new patrols, 80 Black Mambas, 9 helicopters, 1 Black Hawk and a new citi-c5 that concentrates the intelligence and surveillance of the State. 7 new specialized divisions were also created: aerial, armored, tactical medicine, intelligence, technology, roads and territorial control.

The impact of these actions is reflected in the reduction of 80% of the homicide rate with respect to its highest point in previous years and in the decline of all crimes.

The work and vision of the Government of Samuel García, seeks that Nuevo León continue to turn adversity into opportunities, and only 3 years has become a safer, connected and prosperous state.
