There were 158 deals recorded, totaling about $512 million, in New York City on June 20. 

🏆Residential: The top residential deal in New York City was for a sponsor condominium unit at JDS Development and PMG’s 111 West 57th Street along Billionaires’ Row. Jin Wang and Mingju Li paid $11 million for the unit, which spans about 4,500 square feet. The deal pencils out to more than $2,400 per square foot. The initial asking price for the three-bedroom apartment was $15.5 million. The Nikki Field Team with Sotheby’s International is leading sales at the tower.

🏆Commercial: The top commercial real estate deal in New York City was in Soho. Broadway Continental Corp. sold a five-story office building at 540 Broadway for $30 million. The buyer was Milkystar LLC. The seller had owned the property for decades. The property is home to a Schutz shoe store.

📊Commercial: A three-story retail property that houses the 47th Street Diamond Exchange at 1192 Sixth Avenue in the Diamond District traded hands for $27 million. The buyer was a company tied to jeweler Avi Davidov and, reportedly, boxer Floyd Mayweather, according to Crain’s. The seller was a company managed by Jo Gelbard, whose family has owned the property since the 1960s, per the outlet.

📊Commercial: In Jackson Heights, a company tied to Chris Papamichael’s Domain Companies offloaded an apartment complex at 35-30 81st Street that it had owned since 2006. A company linked to Anthos Properties dropped $18.2 million on the six-story, 96-unit property, which previously sold for just over $14 million.

📊Residential: A sponsor unit at Extell Development’s 50 West 66th Street in Lincoln Square sold for $9.3 million. The buyer was Ameri Cultural Development LLC. The three-bedroom unit spans almost 3,000 square feet.

📊Residential: A trust picked up a condo at 7 Harrison Street in Tribeca for $8.5 million. The seller was I.C. Nobu LLC, who paid $8.3 million for the unit a decade ago. Compass’ Aimee Scher had the listing.

📊Residential: One Lucky Dog LLC parted with a condo at 108 Leonard Street in Tribeca for $8.2 million. The buyer was a company named after the unit’s address. The apartment, which has three bedrooms and an office, spans more than 2,600 square feet, pricing the deal at roughly $3,200 per square foot. The property also has an indoor fireplace and an outdoor fireplace on its terrace. Douglas Elliman’s Elena Sarkissian has the listing, which went live in 2023 for $10.5 million.
