A Mexican supplement company is relocating its U.S. headquarters to the booming north Dallas suburbs of Collin County

Omnilife, owned by Amaury Vergara, has purchased 5.75 acres along State Highway 121, within the Prodigy Park business hub, in Allen, the Dallas Business Journal reported

Plano-based Heady Investments, the developer behind the 14-acre Prodigy Park, sold the land. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Omnilife’s building, located between Cottonwood Creek Church and Lifetime Fitness, will span roughly 80,000 square feet and house at least 140 employees. Dallas-based 5G Studios is the architect.

The company selected Allen for its regional headquarters in December 2022, driven by the city’s proximity to major highways, airports and favorable cost of living.

Omnilife is one of several international companies establishing a presence in Collin County. Assa Abloy, a Swedish security company, aims to relocate its North American headquarters to Plano, and a Norwegian tech firm plans to double its operations in Allen, for example.

Prodigy Park is set to include a $3 million outdoor auditorium, and Heady plans to construct an additional 76,300 square feet of speculative office space on the remaining land.

Pending approval of a new site plan and grading permit from the city, construction of Omnilife’s building is expected to commence within the next two months, the outlet said.
