Tommy Shelby is back.

Netflix has released a new trailer for Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man, the upcoming sequel movie starring Cillian Murphy. The Peaky Blinders movie takes place after the end of the original TV show, focusing on Tommy after he goes into self-exile. However, he’s forced to return in the midst of World War II to reckon with his past mistakes.

Now, Netflix has released a full trailer for Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man, revealing what brings Tommy back into the world of his once-great criminal empire. In the preview, Rebecca Ferguson’s new character seeks him out, revealing that his son, played by Barry Keoghan, has taken over the Peaky Blinders, running it like it was organized 20 years prior.

The trailer signals Pinto makes a deal with Tim Roth’s character to help Germany in their war efforts. In the meantime, Tommy returns to confront his son, entering the Garrison and not being recognized by some patrons. A number of explosive sequences and intense confrontations signal Tommy might just destroy his past in order to save himself.

The end of Peaky Blinders saw Tommy offer final preparations to the rest of his family for his involvement in the organization. This included laying the groundwork for his son to take over as the leader following his coming-of-age. However, this seems to have been a bad choice, given how he’s running it in his father’s absence.

Alongside Murphy’s return as Tommy, other key cast members from Peaky Blinders reprising their roles include Stephen Graham as Hayden Stagg, Sophie Rundle as Ada Thorne, Ned Dennehy as Charlie Strong, Packy Lee as Johnny Dogs, and Ian Peck as Curly. Their presence emphasizes the film as a continuation not just of Tommy’s story, but of the gang as a whole.

The concept of Tommy returning to take down what he’s built indicates The Immortal Man will see the fall of the Peaky Blinders, mirroring their history in a more dramatic fashion. Closing the door on the organization in a definitive way will make the movie’s story worthwhile, providing a true end to the events of the show.

With the film coming to Netflix in just one month, Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man is raising the stakes and elevating the story to deliver an action-packed finale. With Murphy portraying Tommy one last time, the movie is promising a definitive finale to his story, even if it costs him his legacy.

Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man plays in select theaters starting March 6 before its Netflix release on March 20.
