Pemex reported that he attended two leaks in a pipeline that transports oil from the AKAL-C platform to the maritime terminal of Dos Bocas, Tabasco.
“Currently the preparations for the verification of hermeticity and commissioning of the pipeline are made,” he said in a statement.
A part of the volume of oil that escaped reached the coast of the terminal in an extension of 7 kilometers, he said.
Pemex added that specialized staff and equipment carried out the cleaning, which is expected to end in the next few hours.

He said he communicated with fishermen communities to establish prevention measures to reactivate his productive activity soon.
He added that the event was notified to the Security, Energy and Environment Agency of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, in order to implement remediation actions.
