Michael Stern’s JDS Development Group is going to market with the crown jewel of its Billionaires’ Row supertall.
The penthouse unit at 111 West 57th Street listed for $110 million, Bloomberg reported. The condominium is located at the top of the second-tallest residential building in the country, practically putting its residents in the clouds.
The 11,500-square-foot “quadplex” has five bedrooms, six bathrooms and more than 600 square feet of terraces. The unit encompasses the 80th to 83rd floors.
The bottom of the four floors has an entry hall, a living room with floor-to-ceiling windows and a wine fridge and terraces. One floor up are four of the bedrooms, as well as a wet bar and a lounge area.
The 82nd floor is home to the primary suite, which includes two bathrooms, freestanding bathtubs, two dressing rooms and private office space. The 83rd floor is essentially an amenity suite with a bar, a billiards table, a private screening room, a service kitchen and another outdoor terrace.
Building amenities include a complimentary breakfast at the residents-only restaurant, an indoor lap pool, a fitness center, a golf simulator and an indoor residential padel court.
“There’s probably only 100 people in the world that this would resonate with,” Sotheby’s International Realty’s Nikki Field said of the pricey penthouse listing.
Field took over sales at the JDS and Property Markets Group supertall in July, replacing Corcoran and becoming the third sales team to lead the building’s marketing since 2018. At the time, there were 27 units remaining, asking between $12.5 million and $56 million.
Since her team took over sales last year, Field has replaced the building management agent and brought in more hospitality staff. In the last eight months, there have been $285 million of closings or contracts at the building, according to Field.
Last month, Unit 67 went into contract with a $20 million asking price.
