Mitsuharu ‘Micha’ Tsumura thanked the prestigious award for his team and his family and said that “it is a dream to be able to make happy people and that hospitality and gastronomy can do surprising things can make dreams come true and can solve many problems”

The voters of this prestigious award are journalists, chefs, industry experts and also fans, all members of the Academy of the 50 best restaurants in the world: 540 women and many other men.
They come from 27 countries, must maintain anonymity and can vote for a minimum of six and a maximum of ten restaurants (in order of preference) that have visited in the last 18 months and only six of their geographical area.
They must document the visit -with a photo is enough -and they can vote for the restaurant they prefer, which does not necessarily have to be famous or have stars: the choice is totally personal.
