This Friday, the pharmaceutical company Grisi held the official inauguration of a new production plant in Mexico City, in which it invested more than 200 million pesos.

The plant will generate more than 400 direct jobs, and is the largest in the GRISI Group.

At the inaugural event, Alejandro Grisi de Lara, general director of Grupo GRISI, explained that more than 40% of the company’s production will be carried out in these new facilities.

The industrial property was installed on an area of ​​land of 24 thousand square meters in the Vallejo Industrial Zone of the Azcapotzalco mayor’s office.

The facilities have machinery for 14 production lines where more than 40 million products will be manufactured per year, including shampoos, shower gels, creams, gels, lotions and liquid soaps, as well as products for dogs and cats.

According to company executives, manufacturing will be carried out simultaneously with high-end European technology equipment that will allow sustainable production.

The plant includes a purified water generation system that reduces consumption by 30%, in addition, it has two charging stations for electric vehicles and, by the end of 2025, it will have solar panels.
