They say three is the magic number, but nobody mentioned that to Sony, thankfully. March now looks chock-full of gaming goodness for all PlayStation Plus subscribers. Whether you’re a new or existing member of the club, you’ll be able to play four free titles in March rather than the usual three offerings. An extra game for no extra cost…three is definitely no longer the magic number!
March 2nd is your last chance to add February’s games to your library before they’re gone. Then, thanks to official confirmation from PlayStation, all Plus subscribers will have access to four brand-new titles the following day. The games available are: Monster Hunter Rise, PGA Tour 2K25, Slime Rancher 2 and The Elder Scrolls Online Collection: Gold Road. March is off to a great start!
PlayStation Plus Subscribers Are Getting A Bonus Freebie For March
March Multiplayer Madness
While typically we only get three titles offered each month, PlayStation Plus subscribers are getting a bonus fourth game to add to their libraries in March. With the leak of PGA Tour 2K25 earlier this week and the poor reaction from fans, it’s great to see that we’re getting three more games to enjoy for the month.
PGA Tour 2K25 (PS5) — A visually realistic golf sim where you take on the legends of the golfing world across some of the most iconic courses in the world. This new version introduces the new EvoSwing mechanic, and refined ball physics. It also offers deep levels of customization and impressive fully licensed courses, brands and players.
Slime Rancher 2 (PS5) — A cozy cartoonish colorful fever dream of a game. You collect, breed and evolve different types of slime creatures while uncovering the mysteries and unlocking new areas of the whacky world you inhabit. A charming vibrant world you can explore at your own pace.
Monster Hunter Rise (PS5/PS4) — An action RPG where you hunt fantastical creatures around Kamura village. Craft new armors and weapons to help you take down even tougher colossal monsters. A perfect hunting adventure with a variety of play styles to enjoy solo or with friends.
The Elder Scrolls Online Collection: Gold Road (PS5/PS4) — An MMO experience that includes the base game and all seven expansions. With access to all biomes including Morrowind, Summerset, Elsweyr, and Greymoor to name a few. It’s a story-rich narrative with absolutely huge areas to explore and offers a great introduction point for new ESO players.
Don’t Expect Four Games Every Month On PlayStation Plus
A Gaming Quartet Is Not The Norm
Sure, this is the second month in a row that PlaySation Plus subscribers have received four monthly games, but it’s far from the norm. Three is the usual tally, so don’t get too comfortable with Sony’s generosity. That said, the PlayStation Plus March line-up offers a great variety of games pulling from different genres. There should be something here that tickles your fancy.
PlayStation Plus members can get their hands on these new offerings on March 3rd, 2026. For me, having more than one open-world RPG that I can try for free sounds like heaven. March can’t get here quick enough!
