Private sector analysts raised Mexico’s inflation forecast at the end of this year to 4.45%, according to a survey by the Bank of Mexico (Banxico) released this Friday.
Specialists also reduced their estimate for economic growth to 1.40%.
The analysts consulted by Banco de México also expect that the interbank funding rate will end the fourth quarter of 2024 at 10%, according to the median of the projections of 41 local and foreign analysis groups received between October 17 and 30.
