The agency said that the call is for vehicles Virtus 2024 models to 2025 and Taigun 2024 to 2025
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Profeco, an organ in defense of consumers in Mexico, and Volkswagen from Mexico alerted the call to review for 25,178 vehicles Virtus models 2024 to 2025 and Taigun 2024 to 2025.

In the case of Virtus, it was pointed out, there are 15,677 units in which “the central rear seat belts have a radio too small in the final hardware, where they are fixed, which can cause injuries.”
Due to this, the safety belts involved and the campaign for these vehicles will begin on July 15 and will last a year.
Meanwhile, for the other 9,501 Taigun and Virtus Models 2024 to 2025 the alert call “is due to the fact that the tabs of the back belts of the rear bank do not present the necessary hardness, being able to break and hurt the occupants,” he said.
