The accident on September 10 left 31 people dead. After investigations, the FGJCDMX concluded that the driver of the vehicle was responsible for the accident by driving at excess speed.

According to expert opinions, mechanical failures or problems on public roads were ruled out, so the direct cause of the incident was the driver’s lack of skill, explained Mayor Luján on October 11.

The Silza company, belonging to the Tomza group, was identified as responsible for repairing the damage.

The prosecutor assured that the company has shown a willingness to collaborate with the authorities and the affected families, in addition to complying with the legal commitments derived from the case.
