Russian President Vladimir Putin signed on Tuesday a law authorizing the development of a state courier application integrated with government services, in an effort on the part of Moscow for reducing their dependence on platforms such as WhatsApp and Telegram.
Russia has been looking to establish what it calls digital sovereignty for the promotion of local services.
