The members of the Mexican Railway Association (AMF) are not part of the investigations related to fiscal huachicol, a fuel smuggling that enters ports and trains from the United States to Mexico, said its president, Francisco Fabila.

“As an association we do not have more comment and we are not part of any investigation or part of what has been done,” said Exporail edition.

“It is an issue that companies see directly and we as a Mexican association of railroads have not been involved in this aspect and are working and collaborating very fully,” he answered at the express question about how companies have worked with the investigations of the fiscal huachicol in Mexico.

According to the business leader, in the energy sector “we have seen that the importation of the United States fuels is maintained to supply the Mexican market.”

“Fuel continues to enter the border and sea ports, despite the conversation that exists about fiscal huachicol,” he said.

“Definitely the fuel continues to reach all the main consumption and industrial centers of the country,” he said.

On July 7 Omar García Harfuch, secretary of citizen security and protection, reported the biggest coup against fiscal huachicol in which the Government of Claudia Sheinbaum goes, with the assurance of 129 tanks and 15 million 480 thousand liters of fuels.

Another confiscation was recorded on March 31, when 10 million liters were seized and an oil ship in Altamira, Tamaulipas.
