President Claudia Sheinbaum appointed Roberto Fernández González as treasurer of the Federation, replacing María Elvira Concheiro Bórquez, who concluded her management, the Ministry of Finance reported on Monday.
The agency indicated in a statement that the new head of the Treasury served as treasurer of the Government of Mexico City, from December 2018 to September 2024.
Fernández González was sub -landster of cadastre and territorial register of the Government of the Federal District from 2010 to 2015, and coordinated the work of the update of the database and the cadastral operation systems, the update of the regulations applicable to the fiscal valuation of the real estate and process reengineering.
He was also coordinator of the Cadastral Modernization Program of Mexico City and Management of Administration and Finance in the DF Credit Recovery Trust.
He was also Director of Administration of the Passenger Transport Network of the Federal District, Deputy Director of Environmental Economy in the Ministry of Environment of the DF and advisor to the President of the National Institute of Ecology.
Fernández González has a degree in Administration from UNAM, with a diploma in ecology, sustainable development and environmental management from the Ibero -American University.
