Ryanair has announced that it is canceling all flights to and from Israel until October 27 following the strike. Last month, Ireland’s low-cost airline said it would resume flights at the end of September.
The latest announcement comes at a time when many airlines are renewing flights to Israel following threats of retaliation from Iran and Hezbollah last month. Today, Lufthansa Group, the largest aviation group consisting of Lufthansa Airlines, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Swiss and Eurowings, resumed flights to and from Israel after more than a month of suspension. The group operates multiple flights to six destinations in Western Europe: Frankfurt, Munich, Düsseldorf, Vienna, Brussels and Zurich. Italian airline ITA has also resumed flights between Tel Aviv and Rome today with one daily flight.
