Ricardo Salinas Pliego proposed a dialogue table to President Claudia Sheinbaum to build solutions so that her business group pays the Public Treasury “what is fair” in accordance with the law.
“What is at stake is not a lawsuit between two people. What is at stake is the confidence of millions of Mexicans who want a country with clear rules, investment, employment and future,” he said in the social network X.
The businessman explained that it is evident that between them there are deep disagreements and that that will not change.
“I have realized that, from the National Palace, this Government and the previous one, they have dedicated a lot of time to attack and slander me instead of dedicating themselves to governing and giving the results for which they were chosen,” he said.

He said that time is lost in personal attacks and the country is not strengthened.
“What you can do is open a responsible dialogue table. Therefore, I propose president that your team and mine feel at an open, serious and transparent negotiating table, where we can find points of agreement and build fair solutions so that the companies of my group pay what is fair and corresponds, neither more nor less, according to the law,” he said.
