MEXICO CITY.- The Tax Administration Service (SAT) denied information disseminated in some media about the alleged elimination or replacement of the proof of fiscal situation (CSF).
He clarified in an information card that no document has been launched that replaces the CSF, since the latter allows people to know their data in the Federal Taxpayers Registry (RFC), so its disappearance is not contemplated.
He said that the CSF contains information such as the Fiscal Identification Card (CIF) with QR Code, the CURP, the taxpayer’s full name, as well as the registered address, tax regime and obligations, among other data.
He added that his obtaining can be done remote or face -to -face in the 162 SAT offices in the country.
He also explained that the fiscal data card (CDF), created in 2023, is a complementary document that facilitates access to fiscal data. Includes name, postal code and tax regime, and can be downloaded from the SAT portal.
The Finance collecting agency recalled that the issuance of invoices for the purchase of products or contracting of services should not be conditioned to the presentation or delivery of the CSF, the CIF or the CDF, since it is an undue fiscal practice.
Finally, the SAT reiterated its commitment to provide precise information to avoid confusion among taxpayers.
