Registration to the Federal Taxpayers Registry (RFC) between October 2024 and July had an increase of 2.9% to 1.7 million people compared to the same period, prior to the simplification of tax procedures, the SAT reported.
The authority also stressed that the generation and renewal of the E.Firma grew 12.9%.
The increases were given as part of the simplification actions of the fiscal authority, aimed at reducing requirements and facilitating compliance with obligations, the body said in a statement
Among the measures that explain the advances include the possibility of performing online pre -registration from the SAT portal, as well as the reduction of documents necessary to complete the procedure: official identification, CURP and proof of address.

According to the SAT, administrative simplification – including the use of email, USB and validation through fingerprint – seeks that more and more taxpayers can be integrated into the formal tax system without long face -to -face processes.
These results are added to the expedition of more than 84 million records of fiscal situation, which represented an increase of 11.1%.
With these figures, the SAT stressed that the digitalization and simplification of processes is giving concrete results in the formalization of taxpayers, the registration of the RFC being one of the most relevant indicators.
